TEKTRO Technology Corporation Launches New Vietnam Facility, Strengthening Global Strategic Footprint

TEKTRO Technology Corporation, successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility in Vietnam earlier this month. This event officially marks the commencement of TEKTRO Group's signifl- cant investment plan in Southeast Asia, signaling a firm strategic step forward in addressing global market changes and geopolitical challenges. The ceremony was well-attended, with key local bicycle parts suppliers and industry representatives invited to witness the important occasion. Their presence underscored the TEKTRO Group's commitment to building strong localized industry collaborations.

Strategic Rationale: Geopolitical Adaptation and Proximity Supply

TEKTRO has long maintained a keen focus on the Vietnamese market. The decision to establish Vietnam as its third major manufacturing base is driven by two clear strategic considerations:

TEKTRO Group believes the Vietnam facility will significantly optimize its global supply chain configuration, enabling it to provide global services with greater agility and efficiency.

1. Geopolitical Diversification:

Actively responding to the trend of global supply chain reshaping by establishing production sites in different regions. This move aims to mitigate geopolitical risks and enhance the overall operational stability and resilience.

2.Supply Chain Optimization:

To achieve proximity supply and efficiently serve the rapidly growing customer base of bicycle assembly plants in Vietnam. This will significantly reduce lead times, ensure flexible and timely product delivery, and further solidify customer relationships.

Commitment and Outlook: The New Engine for Group Growth

Vietnam is a vital cluster for the global bicycle manufacturing industry, possessing excellent investment conditions and development potential. This factory construction is not only a solemn commitment to our global customers but will also serve as a crucial engine for the TEKTRO Group to achieve continuous growth and enhance competitiveness in the coming years. We are confident that through deep collaboration with our local Vietnamese partners, TEKTRO can collectively build a more resilient and efficient bicycle supply chain system.

Construction for the new Vietnamese plant, located in Ho Chi Minh City (Originally Binh Duong), Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park III has officially begun, with the target of commencing mass production in 2027. Upon completion, Vietnam will become TEKTRO Technology Corporation's third production and manufacturing base globally, following Taiwan and China. The addition of the new facility will not only expand TEKTRO's global capacity but also effectively meet the increasing worldwide demand for high-quality bicycle brake and drivetrain systems.
